Final Words - Our Lenten Bible Study this year will be “Final Words” which is based on Jesus’ seven last words from the Cross. The Lenten Study will include a video segment and a time of reflection and discussion. We will meet every Sunday at 8:15 a.m. in our Batsto fellowship Hall Beginning on February 26.

A Day to Dream - Please plan to join us for a Day to Dream on Sunday, February 26. We will meet in our Batsto Fellowship Hall that day to celebrate our rich history, reflect on where we are now and listen for God’s directions for the future.  Everyone is welcome to be a part of this important afternoon of planning and all work areas are required to send at least one representative including Worship and Music, Sunday School, SPRC, Trustees, Church Council, Youth Ministries, UMW, Finance, Missions and Evangelism. Please bring a bag lunch to eat, coffee, bottled water, and other drinks will be provided.

District Day of Learning - Our Annual District Day of Learning will take place at St. Peter’s UM Church in Ocean City on Sunday, February 12 from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m.  There are many workshops on a large variety of topics and participants may choose two.  The cost is $10 for advance registration or $12 at the door.  For more information, please see Joanne Schmeling for a brochure or Click Here to download one.

Pancake Breakfast - There will be a delicious Pancake Breakfast in our Nesco Church building on Saturday, February 4, from 7:00 until 11:00 a.m.  The cost is only $5.00 for adults and $3:00 for children age 3 to 12, and children under 3 are free.  The proceeds benefit the mission work of our United Methodist Women’s group.

United Methodist Women - The women’s group is very active in the mission of our Church and they have a great time doing it.  The UMW meets at 11:00 am on the first Thursday of every month.  The next meeting is February 2 in our Nesco Church building.  Come join us, the women’s group is open to all women age 13 and up.

Women’s Retreat - The annual Women’s Retreat at Sandy Cove will take place on April 27, 28, and 29, 2012. We will be joining with the Mauricetown UM Church’s Loyalty Circle for this inspiring event. The $198 fee includes 2 nights at the excellent Christian Resort in a room you will share with others, plus the program and your meals.  Payment plans are available, speak to Margie Cochran or Click Contact Us to register or for more information.

Sunday School - Please encourage every child you know to be a part of our Sunday Schools.  At 9:30 a.m. children gather in our Lower Bank Church building, and at 10:30 a.m. they meet in our Batsto Church building.  Both of our excellent Sunday Schools have classes for children age 3 and up.

Saturday Night Alive - Our monthly Gospel Bluegrass Music night takes place on the second Saturday of every month at 7:00 p.m. in our Nesco Church building.  The evening is free of charge with an offering received.  Be sure to bring friends to this always excellent music extravaganza.
